Clock Out is a working day as a deck of cards, and you have to get to 5pm.

Four cards an hour: colleagues, deadlines, coffee, excuses. Deal with three of them. The fourth carries into the next hour, and choosing which is half the game. Colleagues and deadlines cost patience. Coffee gives it back — once an hour; the second cup is wasted. An excuse absorbs the hit, and it wears out: after it covers a 9, it only ever covers cards below 9. You get two breaks a day. Never two in a row.

The clock is the deck. Forty-four cards, nine to five. When you lose, the screen tells you what time it was and how many cards you were from the door.

Every day has a par — the best possible finish for that exact deck, solved in advance, exact. Nobody beats it. Match it and it's a perfect day. Your best on each day comes back as a ghost on the patience bar. A rating goes up for clean days on hard decks and down for walking out.

Today's day is the same deck for everyone, with a streak. One click copies your result.

Built for a desk. No sound. No timer — the pressure is the deck, not a clock. It saves after every card, so close the tab whenever. Works in a narrow window beside your email, and on a phone.
